When it comes to looking after his family Bernie understands that a man has to do what a man has to do but selling his motor bike ....... nah I cant see that happening.
After all budgeting is all about "sleeping soundly at night" by living within your means, its not about punishing yourself. Bernie is one of the "working poor" who typically earn a reasonable income but who are seduced, to spend more than they can afford, by the availability of easy credit.
People like Bernie find themselves in the unenviable position of not being able to reduce debt - just make the basic monthly repayments and that's a mugs game.
